The Valley Amateur Radio Association is a local ARRL affiliated club made up of a diverse group of people that share a common interest, Amateur Radio. VARA is a public-service oriented group with the call sign W1VAR. The Valley Amateur Radio Association is dedicated to service to our community by providing radio communication whenever possible in times of emergency, during emergency preparedness drills and as possible for public events where radio communications can facilitate the safety of the general public.

Access to this group is granted via membership invitation and only VARA members in good standing are eligible to join. Meeting notices, club news and other amateur radio related information can be shared via this group in between regular meetings.
